About the Role
The Senior Sales Manager will lead business development efforts across the Americas, driving revenue through strategic account acquisition and relationship management in the space technology sector.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute sales strategies across North and South America
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the space infrastructure market
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at commercial and government organizations
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions for customer needs
- Present value propositions to executive-level stakeholders
- Forecast revenue and report on sales pipeline accuracy
- Negotiate complex contracts and pricing structures
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events
- Work closely with marketing to develop targeted campaigns
- Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated to engineering teams
- Support the development of case studies and sales collateral
- Advocate for customer needs within the organization
- Drive expansion within existing accounts
- Manage relationships with international partners and distributors
- Align sales activities with long-term company goals
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems
- Provide market feedback to product development teams
- Contribute to pricing and go-to-market strategies
- Mentor junior sales team members
- Ensure compliance with export control regulations
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contract terms
- Respond to RFPs and lead proposal development
