Responsibilities
- Maintain RF lab cleanliness and measurement accuracy in development and validation settings.
- Perform calibration and upkeep of RF test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and related accessories.
- Measure and characterize S-parameters (S11, S21, etc.) for cables, connectors, and jigs, and update correction data as needed.
- Define and enforce RF handling best practices, including torque wrench use, connector care, cable replacement schedules, labeling, and ESD discipline.
- Troubleshoot and refine RF test setups to remove measurement errors and enhance repeatability.
- Oversee the lifecycle of cables, connectors, adapters, and fixtures, replacing degraded interconnects before they affect data quality.
- Assist DVT, SVT, and Systems teams during bring-up, validation, and regulatory testing.
- Keep calibration logs, test setup documentation, and lab asset records up to date.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test fixture design and measurement reliability.
