About the Role
This position leads the creation and coordination of end-to-end proposal responses, working cross-functionally to integrate technical, financial, and compliance inputs while ensuring timely submission and quality adherence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle from kickoff to submission
- Coordinate inputs from technical, financial, and legal stakeholders across departments
- Ensure compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain proposal schedules and action item tracking
- Manage content updates and reuse within proposal libraries
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies during proposal development
- Serve as primary point of contact for proposal-related communications
- Oversee the formatting and production quality of final deliverables
- Conduct post-submission reviews to capture lessons learned
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical capabilities into customer value
- Maintain awareness of industry-specific regulations impacting proposal content
- Ensure alignment of pricing strategy with proposal narrative
- Support capture planning activities in advance of formal requests
- Develop executive summaries and customer-facing presentations
- Apply best practices in proposal management to improve win rates
- Train team members on proposal processes and tools
- Manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines
- Standardize templates and workflows to improve efficiency
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across submissions
- Facilitate proposal reviews with leadership stakeholders
- Track customer evaluation criteria and tailor responses accordingly
- Integrate win themes and differentiators into proposal content
- Maintain documentation of past performance and references
- Support customer debriefs following proposal outcomes
- Use data to refine proposal strategies over time
