VetsEZ is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead critical program initiatives supporting enterprise healthcare modernization for a federal client. In this role, you will oversee multiple complex projects, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Provide overall project leadership and management of scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality.
- Serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and recurring status updates.
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management across multiple concurrent projects.
- Track performance against milestones and deliverables, proactively addressing risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Oversee preparation and delivery of project documentation such as reports, dashboards, presentations, and technical artifacts.
- Foster collaboration across business, technical, and government teams, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Mentor junior project managers and champion best practices, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to program-level strategic planning and decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs and projects, preferably in federal government or healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple, concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, and traditional waterfall).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidate must reside within the continental US.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs programs or similar large-scale federal healthcare initiatives.
- PMP, PgMP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
- Familiarity with data integration, interoperability, or enterprise healthcare IT systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage program-level risks and dependencies.
