MERGE is looking for a Senior Project Manager to be the central coordinator for agency projects from initiation to delivery. You will manage large, integrated campaigns across channels like digital advertising, paid social, video, and experiential marketing, collaborating with clients in the Lifestyle and Consumer industries.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary liaison and communication hub among all internal agency team members.
- Organize and oversee each step of the strategy, media planning, and creative development process from project setup to final delivery.
- Facilitate key meetings including kick-offs, internal reviews, and development checkpoints.
- Scope projects, estimate resource time, create detailed project plans and schedules, and manage timelines.
- Manage and prioritize team assignments with clear tasks for daily deliverables.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Strategy, Media & Analytics, Creative, Producers, and Print Production to coordinate schedules, budgets, and approvals.
- Forecast future deliverables based on project scope and schedules.
- Review media plans and communicate necessary specifications to creative and studio teams.
- Identify and notify the team of project scope deviations.
- Lead contingency planning, problem resolution, and recommend solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Track actual hours against estimates and generate reports.
- Oversee workflow capacity and collaborate with the Department Director to manage resources.
- Manage project out-of-pocket estimates and purchases within assigned budgets.
- Develop, manage, and enforce a rigorous internal approvals process.
- Ensure adherence to proofing processes, brand guidelines, and quality standards.
- Keep the Department Director informed of project progress and raise concerns promptly.
- Implement agency workflow and quality assurance procedures to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide insights on process improvements and resource or tool opportunities.
- Update project status on the Agency status report and ensure proper organization of project files.
- Set up, attend, and actively participate in all necessary weekly status meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years of project management experience in a marketing or advertising agency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Recent experience managing multi-channel media campaigns, including paid social and paid search, for Lifestyle and Consumer clients.
- Deep understanding of production disciplines for integrated campaigns: print, broadcast/video, digital, social media, and in-store or experiential.
- General understanding of media and analytics strategy, planning, and execution.
- Experience using project management software like Trello, Smartsheet, or Jira.
- Proven ability to anticipate problems and find practical solutions to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional time management and outstanding written/verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Team & Environment
