DPR Construction is looking for a Senior Project Manager specializing in Earthworks to join our Self-Perform Work (SPW) division. This role is responsible for leading project teams and overseeing the successful execution of projects within our core markets, including healthcare, higher education, and advanced technology. You will be accountable for project financials, safety, and client satisfaction within our forward-thinking, employee-owned company.
What You'll Do
- Apply DPR’s Environmental Health and Safety Plan, including performing weekly safety audits.
- Manage all project team members, including senior project engineers, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinators.
- Mentor, develop, and train project engineers.
- Maintain 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
- Handle cost control, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports.
- Challenge and support the jobsite and self-perform work team.
- Be accountable for project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects.
- Coordinate with the SPW Preconstruction team and give feedback on project financials status.
- Learn AGTEK Gradeworks and basic Autodesk Civil 3D to create models for PCO estimating & GPS field control use.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of civil construction experience.
- Excellent listening and strong communication skills.

- Demonstrate understanding of building processes and civil scopes.
- Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (CMiC, Prolog or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
- 5+ years of experience in civil construction.
- A strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience preferably within DPR’s core markets (healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, commercial).
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or related field.
- Proficient computer skills in Estimating Software (HCSS HeavyBid or similar) and Civil project management software (HCSS HeavyJob or similar).
