AECOM is hiring a Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee one or more complex projects covering the full range of engineering services provided by the company.
  • Manage project and technical tasks for multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Identify issues, evaluate information accuracy and relevance, use sound judgment to generate and assess alternatives, and provide recommendations.
  • Review contracts, prepare fee proposals, and develop project execution strategies.
  • Manage sub-consultant scope, fees, deliverables, and performance.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation and communication skills in English, along with report and proposal writing abilities.
  • Adhere to and enforce company and project policies.
  • Assist in developing new client relationships and strengthening existing ones; identify, understand, and focus on key client requirements; serve as the primary liaison between the company and the client.
  • Exhibit strong team leadership skills; be a self-starter, energetic, and proactive; provide guidance to subordinate managers or mentor junior team members.
  • Act as a strong team player.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering plus 6 years of project management related experience, or demonstrated equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with computer-aided design (AutoCAD).
  • Experience with ArcGIS.
  • Professional Engineer Registration with the ability to obtain a Guam Professional Engineer Registration within 12 months.
  • Previous experience leading projects with multi-disciplinary teams to meet required quality, timeliness, and budget parameters.
  • Preference given to candidates with demonstrated experience managing design-focused projects.
  • Previous experience maintaining client relationships and expectations.
  • Advanced knowledge of planning and design processes, construction documentation, construction administration, and code requirements.
  • Experience managing concurrent projects in various stages of development and managing multiple project types with an emphasis on design, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Innovative problem solver with excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to manage people and projects through strong organizational skills.
  • Strong skills in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities in support of the sales team.
  • Experience with Federal projects is a plus.
  • Experience with water/wastewater projects is a plus.
