About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of advanced aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with technical, schedule, and budgetary objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program lifecycle from initiation through closure
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering and operations teams
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules
- Manage program budgets and financial forecasting
- Track and report key performance metrics to stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies
- Facilitate technical reviews and design validation processes
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Interface with external customers and partners
- Drive continuous improvement in program execution
- Support proposal development for new business opportunities
- Maintain configuration control across program phases
- Oversee supplier and vendor performance
- Lead change management processes for scope adjustments
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed program documentation
- Coordinate integration and test activities
- Manage stakeholder expectations across organizational levels
- Implement best practices in program governance
- Support root cause analysis for technical issues
- Lead post-mission reviews and lessons learned sessions
- Optimize resource allocation across concurrent projects
- Ensure traceability from requirements to delivery
- Drive schedule recovery plans when necessary
- Promote a culture of accountability and collaboration
