Thales SESO® Optics is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Payroll

About the Role

This position leads the strategic direction of payroll products, ensuring they meet market demands, comply with regulations, and deliver value to customers through innovation and user-centered design.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision for payroll solutions
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable and secure features
  • Gather and prioritize customer feedback into product roadmaps
  • Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and financial regulations
  • Work closely with UX designers to enhance user experience
  • Lead discovery efforts to identify market opportunities
  • Coordinate release planning across multiple stakeholders
  • Analyze performance metrics to guide product decisions
  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of payroll product features
  • Partner with sales and support teams to understand client challenges
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Drive adoption of new functionalities through clear documentation
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Facilitate sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions
  • Support integration of payroll systems with third-party platforms
  • Advocate for data privacy and security best practices
  • Oversee user testing and validation processes
  • Present product updates to executive leadership
  • Ensure alignment with long-term company objectives
  • Mentor junior product team members

Nice to Have

SESO® constant investment and innovation policy ensures us to stay in the race and anticipate the always increasing needs of better roughness, flatness, weight, stability, … Among the last investments and innovations, we can count the 2 QED robots, the Ion Beam Figuring, a double face polishing of large flat optics, larger and faster interferometers, a patented deformable mirrors and bender.

With a staff mostly composed of engineers, Phds and qualified technician, we will be able to provide the best solution and assist you in the definition of your project with our extended experience in opto-mechanical design, simulation, integration and Finite element simulation (for stresses, temperature, vibration, deformation simulation).
