GT is looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a defense-tech project. You will lead product planning, feature definition, and execution for secure, cloud-native infrastructure that powers mission-critical aerospace and defense systems.
What You'll Do
- Own the product roadmap and define key milestones from prototype through scale.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to guide system architecture and technical decisions.
- Translate complex user requirements from both government and commercial defense clients into actionable product features.
- Ensure alignment with the highest security and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Integrate AI and ML capabilities into product design to support data-informed decision-making.
- Conduct early-stage user validation and feedback loops with key stakeholders.
- Work with legal and compliance experts to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Analyze product performance and usage metrics to inform iteration and prioritization.
- Support a rapidly growing tech team with efficient process management while growing your own team of product specialists.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in defense, cybersecurity, aerospace, or enterprise SaaS.
- Background or experience in gaming, particularly war games, simulations, or military strategy-focused applications.
- Proven track record building products from concept to launch in fast-moving or startup environments.
- Experience working with regulated, secure, or mission-critical systems.
- Understanding of AI/ML integration in complex systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort working hands-on with engineering teams in early-stage system design.
- Managerial skills, including hiring and sustaining a world-class product team.
- Highly self-driven, very positive mindset to addressing, solving, and owning difficult product problems.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of drone, robotics, or aerospace component ecosystems.
- Familiarity with national or international defense compliance frameworks.
- Technical foundation or strong literacy in cloud infrastructure and backend systems.
Team & Environment
You will join a growing engineering team, currently 3 developers, and report directly to C-level leadership. You will work directly with the client's team via an Extended Team model managed by the client.
