EX Squared is seeking a Senior Product Manager - API to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our core API products. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining how our services are exposed and consumed, ensuring they meet high standards of usability, performance, and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our public and internal APIs.
- Lead the end-to-end API product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, developer relations, and business stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver value.
- Drive adoption and gather developer feedback to continuously improve the API experience.
- Establish and monitor key metrics to measure the health, usage, and success of our API products.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on API or platform products.
- Proven track record of shipping and scaling successful API products used by external developers.
- Deep understanding of RESTful principles, API design patterns, authentication, and developer tooling.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
Nice to Have
- Background in software engineering or hands-on experience building APIs.
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with API management platforms and gateway technologies.
