Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, vision, and execution of features for core business or multiple product areas
- Offer frequent insights on overall product strategy and how team initiatives align with it
- Gain a deep understanding of the industry, including emerging trends, new technologies, and addressable markets
- Interact with current and prospective customers to understand and analyze their needs, business practices, and plans
- Create and align product roadmaps with the broader product strategy, balancing long-term investments, short-term wins, and technical debt
- Guide and/or manage product colleagues and foster the development of their key skillsets
- Identify areas for improvement in the existing product area and new opportunities to excite the market
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute product releases and support the public narrative for product feature releases
- Provide clear and comprehensive product requirements to guide the development team
- Manage and groom a product backlog, ensuring tickets are ready for upcoming sprints
- Work with sales, marketing, and customer support to gather customer feedback and ensure prompt and seamless delivery to the market
- Participate in the Scrum process and help drive effective scrum ceremonies, including standups, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Identify key success metrics for initiatives and link those metrics to overall business metrics
- Focus on customer value and identify MVP solutions that deliver on that value with minimal time, effort, and risk
- Identify and communicate opportunities and risks to management
