About the Role
You’ll take ownership of a core product area or multiple features within the brand, playing a key role in shaping both the product vision and how it’s executed in practice. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll drive meaningful product outcomes that align with the broader brand strategy and deliver measurable impact for customers.
This is a highly influential role — you’ll define and manage your roadmap end-to-end, ensuring every decision is grounded in clear reasoning and tied to customer value. You’ll be deeply connected to the market, engaging directly with customers on a regular basis to understand industry trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve the product.
As a senior product leader, you’ll set the standard for high-quality product delivery. While formal people management may vary, you’ll act as a mentor and role model for peers, helping elevate product thinking and execution across the team.
Reporting into our VP of Engineering, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional outcomes within your product area or business unit, representing the most senior level of individual contribution in product delivery without broader brand-wide ownership.
Some of the other responsibilities include :
Owns planning, vision, and implementation of features for core business or multiple product areas
Provide regular input on overall product strategy and how team initiatives align with the overall product strategy
Develop an astute understanding of the industry including emerging trends, new available technologies, and addressable markets
Engage current and prospective customers to understand and analyze their needs, business practices, and plans
Establish and align product roadmaps with the broader product strategy and find balance in delivery between long term investments, shorter term wins, and tech debt
Mentor and/or manage product colleagues and drive development of their key skillsets
Identify areas of improvement with your existing product area and fresh opportunities to thrill the market
Engage internal stakeholders to execute product releases and support the public narrative for product feature releases
Deliver clear and comprehensive product requirements to provide guidance to the development team
Own the management and grooming of a product backlog ensuring tickets are ready to be pulled into upcoming sprints
Engage sales, marketing, and customer support to capture customer feedback and to ensure prompt and seamless delivery to the market
Partake in the Scrum process and help drive effective scrum ceremonies including standups, grooming sessions, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Identify key success metrics for initiatives and ties those metrics to overall business metrics
Focus on customer value and identify MVP solutions that deliver on that value with the least amount of time, effort and risk
Identify and raise opportunities and risks to management
Contribute to customer-facing demos and sales and marketing initiatives with your deep product knowledge
Engage with design, research, and development to clearly articulate customer pain points and build a process for effective problem solving
