In this critical role, you'll be the maestro of security product lifecycles, orchestrating complex certification processes across global regulatory landscapes. Picture yourself as the bridge between engineering, security, compliance, and business teams – designing, implementing, and maintaining controls that meet rigorous certification standards. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, interface directly with auditors and regulatory bodies, and provide go-to-market teams with deep certification expertise. Your mission: drive product certification from initial planning through flawless execution, continuously monitor compliance frameworks, and keep stakeholders informed about evolving regulatory standards. The ideal candidate navigates complex compliance environments with ease, simultaneously managing multiple certifications while advancing product security and global market readiness.

Accountabilities:

Lead the full product lifecycle with a focus on security and compliance certifications.
Drive certification initiatives for frameworks such as FedRAMP, GovRAMP, SOC 2, ISO standards, FIPS 140-3, and others.
Partner with engineering and security teams to implement and maintain controls that meet certification requirements.
Engage with third-party assessment organizations (3PAOs), auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate documentation, evidence collection, audit readiness, and continuous monitoring activities.
Track certification renewal timelines and assess impacts of changes in regulations or standards.
Support go-to-market teams with certification-related customer inquiries and RFP responses.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of product management or product lifecycle management experience, with at least 5 years focused on security and compliance.
Proven track record managing multiple certifications across diverse regulatory frameworks.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS architectures, and security best practices.
Experience working directly with auditors, 3PAOs, and government assessment programs.
Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Preferred: PMP, CISM, CISSP, or similar certification; familiarity with automated compliance/GRC tools; experience in highly regulated industries.
