About the Role
This role is responsible for leading process safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead process hazard analyses for new and existing operations
- Support compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP standards
- Conduct facility siting studies and interpret results
- Develop and maintain process safety performance metrics
- Provide technical expertise during incident investigations
- Review process safety information for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in mechanical integrity program evaluations
- Lead or support management of change reviews
- Deliver process safety training to engineering and operations staff
- Evaluate process safety risks associated with capital projects
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on safety improvements
- Support emergency response planning activities
- Monitor emerging regulations and industry best practices
- Conduct audits of process safety management systems
- Advise on inherently safer design principles
- Track and report process safety key performance indicators
- Support process safety culture initiatives
- Participate in process safety reviews and continuous improvement efforts
