Jobgether is hiring a Senior Principal Reliability Engineer to lead efforts ensuring the safety, reliability, and maintainability of our advanced systems and products. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to perform assessments, guide design improvements, and implement best practices throughout new product development.
What You'll Do
- Perform safety assessments, including System Safety Program Plans (SSPP), Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), and Fault Tree Analyses (FTA).
- Conduct reliability assessments such as Reliability Program Plans (RPP), FMEA/FMECA, and MTBF predictions for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Support and lead maintainability, testability, and reliability testing, including HALT/HASS and Reliability Enhancement Tests (RET).
- Review designs to optimize safety and reliability metrics, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Develop and implement improvements to processes and documentation to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, to integrate reliability practices throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, and lead failure review board meetings and corrective action initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering.
- Deep expertise in reliability predictions and engineering methodologies (FMEA, FMECA, FTA, RCA).
- Experience managing engineering teams and technical projects.
- Knowledge of analog/digital circuit analysis and mechanical design analysis.
- Strong skills in data analysis, trend evaluation, and reliability modeling.
- Ability to conduct and oversee reliability testing and communicate complex technical information to cross-functional teams.
- Experience with industry standards such as SAE ARP 4754/4761 and MIL-STD-882E, and related reliability tools and processes.
- Proficiency with software and scripting tools for analysis, as well as MS Office for data evaluation.
