Jobgether is seeking a Service Desk Engineer to provide expert technical assistance and troubleshooting across client IT environments. You will serve as a key point of contact, ensuring high client satisfaction and maintaining productivity in a fully remote support setting.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support for client IT environments, including workstations, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment.
- Answer incoming support requests, managing multiple tickets simultaneously while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, RDS, VMware ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop, Veeam Backup, and other IT systems.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients through phone, email, and other channels to ensure timely resolution.
- Implement best practices, company core values, and IT service standards in all interactions.
- Document resolutions, troubleshoot logs, and provide guidance to clients as needed.
- Support MSP tools and applications such as ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue as applicable.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in IT support or service desk roles with proficiency in workstation and server troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, RDS, VMware ESXi, Citrix, and cloud technologies (e.g., Office 365, Azure).
- Experience with networking fundamentals, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets and maintain high service levels in a remote work environment.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to security, privacy, and IT best practices.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with MSP applications and IT service management platforms is a plus.
