Adfinis AG is hiring a Professional System Engineer (DevOps, 80-100%, Remote (NL)) to join our managed services team. In this customer-facing role, you will solve complex engineering challenges, maintain critical services, and implement solutions tailored to specific customer requirements.

What You'll Do

Verify specified requirements and handle isolated problems and system optimizations.
Maintain, configure, and upgrade unmanaged services and advanced applications, such as GitLab instances and HashiCorp Vault clusters.
Create main components of technical documentation from scratch.
Provide in-depth technical support, solve specialized issues, and eliminate root causes of malfunctions.
Implement and customize existing products to meet specific customer needs.

What We're Looking For

At least two years of work experience as a system engineer in a Linux-centric environment.
Good knowledge of current open-source technologies, Cloud and DevOps journeys, and enterprise IT requirements (e.g., web/app servers, networking, database, virtualization, containers, Linux systems management).
Ability to write code with basic error handling and to fix, write, and implement new automations for simple changes.
Ability to understand systems as a whole from a technical point of view.
