TetraScience is seeking a Senior PreSales Solutions Architect to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will act as the primary technical leader for scientific end-users, designing and delivering impactful solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech customers. You will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, understanding the needs of scientists and R&D IT analysts to accelerate ROI and ensure long-term project success.
What You'll Do
- Be the primary technical point of contact across strategic accounts.
- Engage across the lifecycle from presales to delivery to accelerate adoption.
- Manage technical health and risk.
- Conduct strategic planning and stakeholder management across sales, product management, and engineering teams.
- Provide sales enablement and growth support.
- Build deep and wide technical and science senior relationships.
- Deeply understand customer scientific data and AI architecture & goals.
- Provide proactive, prescriptive technical guidance as a trusted advisor.
- Drive adoption & success plan execution.
- Conduct regular technical reviews and identify risks & recommend optimizations.
- Lead technical strategy for expansions.
- Support POCs & co-innovation.
- Manage resolution for escalated issues.
- Accelerate customer time to value and improve stability & uptime.
- Align to strategic roadmaps and provide prioritized support.
- Support growth through hands-on sessions and enablement presentations.
- Showcase tailored demonstrations to prospects.
- Map business requirements to technical solutions.
- Determine potential return on investment for proposed solutions.
- Cultivate relationships with clients, sales teams, and technical teams.
- Work with science and technology Partners such as Databricks and Google.
- Collaborate with clients and sales teams to reach beneficial agreements.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's product or service offerings.
- Design and showcase tailored demonstrations to prospects.
- Contribute to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical specifications and solutions.
- Ensure projects are kept on track and within scope.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of presales activities.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior technical customer-facing role, such as PreSales Solutions Architect or Technical Consultant, within the scientific, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors.
- Strong ability to understand and translate complex scientific data, AI architectures, and business objectives into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated skill in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and leading technical strategy.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with scientists, R&D IT analysts, and senior technical leaders.
- Experience managing technical health, risk, and escalations across strategic accounts.
- Track record of enabling sales growth and supporting proof-of-concepts and co-innovation initiatives.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience collaborating with science and technology partners such as Databricks and Google Cloud.
- Deep existing relationships within the pharmaceutical and biotech R&D community in the DACH region.
Work Mode
This role operates in a local-city work mode. You will be based in and expected to work from either Düsseldorf, Germany or Darmstadt, Germany.
