  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automated and orchestrated fulfillment mechanisms to optimize service delivery.
  • Coordinate tasks of other teams working within the platform to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and mitigate security threats to comply with strict security standards.
  • Develop and implement security and resiliency policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Produce high-level design documentation as required.
  • Conduct technical research for new/modified systems or problem resolution.
  • Manage vendor relationships concerning design, platform changes, and other modifications.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or a related role.
  • 4+ years of experience with platform engineering and infrastructure components including Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience in automated interaction with physical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing and maintaining cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and log management tools like Nagios, Splunk, and ELK.
  • Experience developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Excellent scripting experience in languages like Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced PowerShell proficiency: developing custom scripts and modules, integrating with VMWare and Active Directory, and using GitHub for version control.
  • Hands-on experience with Tanium automation via console and API.
  • Ability to automate ServiceNow workflows with direct API calls and Terraform.
  • Skilled in managing file shares across Azure Files, Azure File Sync (AFS), Distributed File System (DFS), and traditional on-premises SMB.
  • System monitoring experience and automation with tools like Zabbix.
  • Proficiency in scripting software installation packages, preferably with Tanium.
  • Ability to use SIEM tools like Sumo Logic for log analysis and security monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for document management and team collaboration.
