Responsibilities
- Conducts all aspects of pharmaceutical contracting and pricing including development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Ensures contract compliance and performs analysis regarding pharmacy claims and purchasing data to identify future contracting opportunities.
- Begins to influence department’s strategy.
- Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
- Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contracting and pricing including development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data
- Intermediate to Advanced using MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and use of SharePoint, Teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior management
- Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
