R1 was looking for a Senior Patient Solutions Rep

R1 RCM Holdco Inc. is hiring a Senior Patient Solutions Representative to serve as a critical liaison between patients and the healthcare organization. You will manage patient questions and concerns professionally and confidentially, focusing on delivering a high-quality patient experience through inbound and outbound call resolution.

What You'll Do

  • Manage patient questions and concerns in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Deliver a high-quality patient experience through inbound and outbound call resolution within established protocols with a focus on first call resolution.
  • Manage inquiries via multiple communication channels professionally using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar systems.
  • Review, interpret, and answer questions regarding patient statements, explanation of benefits, account balances, payment plans, and related areas.
  • Utilize healthcare industry term knowledge (e.g., primary care, provider, benefits, HIPAA, PCI, EOBs, CPT & ICD-10 codes, HCFAs, UB04s, HCPCS, DRGs, and authorizations/referrals).
  • Research information using available resources and FAQs to source information rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mentor new hires through ongoing training, provide 90-day evaluation input, and offer probationary support.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment.

Nice to Have

  • High school diploma or GED.

Technical Stack

  • EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar systems.
