As the Senior Partnership Development Manager, you will lead the expansion of a high-value referral partner network across North America, shaping long-term growth through strategic relationship development. You will oversee a team of Business Development Managers, guiding them to identify, onboard, and support referring partners while ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Identify and convert new business opportunities into active referring partners through targeted outreach and relationship building
- Lead regular engagement with existing partners through meetings, follow-ups, and training sessions to maintain strong collaboration
- Develop and execute account plans to strengthen partner performance and retention
- Deliver sales presentations and introduce new services to partners, ensuring they remain informed and engaged
- Monitor market trends and industry developments, sharing insights with your team to adapt strategies effectively
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members within the Business Development function
- Collaborate with the Country Manager to set team targets, track KPIs, and refine performance strategies
- Ensure all client and partner interactions comply with regulatory requirements, including KYC and CRM documentation standards
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and seminars to expand the partner network and represent the company in the market
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and activities within the CRM system
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in business development or sales, with proven success in building and managing referral partner networks
- Experience launching or scaling a business development team or function
- Background in financial services, with understanding of FX solutions and regulatory environments
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities, with confidence in public speaking and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to analyze data, make strategic decisions, and solve complex business challenges
