Pfizer is looking for a Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) to join our team in Southern Florida (Miami). In this role, you will be critical to increasing Pfizer's brand with high-value target customers by linking an insightful assessment of the account landscape with a strong understanding of our products and resources. You will promote our portfolio, educate the healthcare community, and help improve the overall quality of patient care.
What You'll Do
- Promote Pfizer’s broad oncology product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate members of the healthcare community regarding the appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to help improve patients’ experience with Pfizer products.
- Generate demand for Pfizer products in your assigned accounts.
- Develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans to drive achievement of objectives.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships throughout institutions and with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Overcome obstacles to gain access to difficult-to-see health care providers.
- Assess needs of target physicians and accounts, addressing them with a responsive approach and appropriate resources.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
- A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment in previous sales or HCP roles.
- Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information.
- Demonstrated high degree of business acumen.
- Proficiency using complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.
Nice to Have
- 3-5 years of Oncology sales experience.
- Master’s Degree.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English).
- Advanced Healthcare Professional (HCP) Degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
