What You'll Do
Lead the development and execution of occupancy strategies for regional client portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives and real estate frameworks. Translate complex data into clear, actionable plans that improve space utilization and support evolving workforce needs.
Create detailed space layouts, test-fits, and block plans using AutoCAD, and apply interior design principles when negotiating space allocations between departments. Guide clients through transitions to new service models and maintain accurate records through regular audits of furniture, room configurations, and employee locations.
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting on people, space metrics, and occupancy trends. Use analytics to generate strategic insights and support executive decision-making. Act as the main point of contact for operational requests and long-term planning initiatives, building trust through consistent, transparent communication.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Real Estate, or a related discipline. Bring at least eight years of experience in occupancy planning, facility management, or corporate real estate operations. Demonstrate a solid foundation in interior design concepts and space optimization techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, IWMS or CAFM platforms (such as OpenSpace), and advanced Excel functions—including pivot tables and complex formulas—is essential. Familiarity with office measurement standards like BOMA, IFMA, or RICS is required. You must be skilled at interpreting data and presenting it in ways that inform planning decisions and influence stakeholders.
Success in this role depends on the ability to collaborate across teams, challenge assumptions constructively, and balance immediate demands with long-term strategy. You should also be committed to continuous learning, especially regarding workplace trends and digital transformation in real estate.
