IQ Plus AG is hiring a Senior Netzwerk Engineer to implement network infrastructure projects for municipal customers. You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle from planning through to final acceptance in a hybrid work environment.
What You'll Do
- Plan network configurations including VLAN and IP addressing according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with partners for installation and WAN connectivity.
- Configure switches and access points using iMaster.
- Commission Huawei equipment via iMaster and Fortigate firewalls.
- Integrate systems into RADIUS, TACACS, monitoring, and CMDB.
- Perform operational tasks including firmware upgrade rollouts and fault analysis.
- Handle final project acceptance.
What We're Looking For
- A technical education with long-term professional experience implementing large-scale networks.
- Very good knowledge of OSI layers 1-4, routing and switching, firewalls and security, and network monitoring and management.
- Good knowledge in network architecture, design, and network virtualization (SDN).
- A completed degree (HF/FH) or comparable education in computer science or telematics.
- German language proficiency at B2 level.
- An impeccable professional reputation.
Nice to Have
- Product knowledge in Huawei iMaster and Fortinet Fortimanager.
- English language skills.
