Lead the financial direction of MEP projects as a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor, shaping cost strategies and ensuring rigorous financial governance. You will be responsible for developing and refining cost control frameworks that align with industry standards and contractual obligations, ensuring consistency and accountability across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the overarching cost management strategy for MEP programmes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supervise Intermediate Quantity Surveyors and oversee cost reporting, forecasts, and final account approvals
- Review contractor KPIs related to budget performance and recommend improvements
- Manage variations, cashflow projections, retention schedules, and liquidated damages as needed
- Assess financial risks and provide input to risk mitigation strategies
- Verify final cost forecasts and ensure transparency in reporting
- Support dispute resolution and contractor claims processes with expert analysis
- Review bills of quantities and rate schedules to inform pre-tender estimates
- Approve monthly valuations, variation orders, and final accounts for work packages
- Strengthen relationships across the supply chain, including consultants, contractors, and professional organisations
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, with three days per week based in the Dublin office and two days from home. You will collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cost efficiency and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
