About the Role
The Senior Media Buyer will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital media campaigns across multiple channels. This role requires strategic thinking, data analysis, and strong vendor relationships to ensure efficient ad spend and maximum ROI.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of digital media strategies
- Manage end-to-end campaign lifecycles across paid search, social, and display channels
- Negotiate and manage relationships with media vendors and partners
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools
- Optimize media plans based on real-time data and KPIs
- Ensure budget adherence and efficient media spend allocation
- Collaborate with creative teams to align ad content with media strategy
- Conduct market and competitive media landscape analysis
- Identify new advertising opportunities and emerging platforms
- Prepare detailed performance reports for stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital advertising trends and technologies
- Ensure compliance with advertising standards and brand guidelines
- Support testing strategies including A/B and multivariate testing
- Work closely with data analysts to interpret campaign metrics
- Drive continuous improvement in media buying efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage agency partners when applicable
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams
- Forecast media performance and set realistic targets
- Implement audience targeting strategies using demographic and behavioral data
- Utilize programmatic platforms for media placement
- Maintain documentation of media plans and campaign results
- Stay compliant with privacy regulations in ad delivery
- Support brand safety initiatives in media placements
- Evaluate third-party data providers and measurement tools
- Lead quarterly media strategy reviews
