GE Aerospace is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Manager focused on Projects and Initiatives. In this role, you will lead the standardization and efficiency improvement efforts across our global Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) network, driving change through data analytics and process optimization.
What You'll Do
- Act as the critical standardization leader identifying opportunities to improve delivery metrics (SQDC).
- Perform data analytics and comparisons of Overhaul and repair shops data.
- Devise change management strategies and implementation plans to establish a standard work model.
- Engage with FLIGHT DECK leaders on eliminating waste in standard processes.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to digitize and automate standard processes.
- Influence experts across the network to build globally acceptable processes for standard network elements.
- Influence shops and cross-functional teams in C&S for better outcomes and advocate for standard work adoption.
- Serve as a site change agent for future solution evolutions.
- Drive cost savings at Repair and Overhaul shops.
- Define an effective communication process for changes in standards.
- Introduce measurements for implemented changes and track progress.
- Conduct regular audits at your located site to measure against established standards.
What We're Looking For
- For UK-based candidates: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in Manufacturing & Projects and Initiatives.
- For US-based candidates: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and/or at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing & Projects and Initiatives.
