The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) is hiring a Project Director to lead and administer significant quality improvement and research projects as a Principal Investigator, Co-PI, or subject matter expert. In this role, you will design, implement, and direct the QI, research, and administrative efforts of your project team while contributing to the organization's strategic direction.
What You'll Do
- Direct, lead, and administer quality improvement projects as a PI, Co-PI, or expert.
- Design, implement, and lead the QI, research, and administrative efforts of project team members.
- Maintain existing and build new relationships with project sponsors and partners.
- Lead the development and execution of project goals and key activities.
- Guide the work of project teams, including project managers, researchers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Provide professional development and coaching to direct reports and team members.
- Handle project development, including grant and proposal writing.
- Serve as a member of the GRC Leadership Team.
- Supervise project management staff.
- May serve as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator for selected projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three years with an advanced degree.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Nice to Have
- Eight to twelve years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience supervising project management staff and/or leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Training or experience in leading research and evaluation methodology, including survey design or mixed-methods evaluation.
- Experience in behavioral health and/or maternal and child health program implementation and/or evaluation.
