HID Global, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, is looking for a Senior Manager, Web Development. In this role, you will partner closely with the Web Strategy and UX teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences. You will drive the architecture, strategy execution, and delivery of enterprise-level web platforms and applications, with a strong focus on Drupal platform scalability, additional CMS support, and integrations.
What You'll Do
- Drive technical excellence, oversee development teams, ensure scalable architecture, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
- Design, build, and maintain complex, high-performance, and scalable web applications while leading technical projects and mentoring junior staff.
- Architect and implement complex Drupal-based and integrated web solutions aligned to the defined web roadmap.
- Lead the Development Team in delivering secure and maintainable web platform capabilities and components.
- Establish best practices in coding standards, architecture, DevOps, and security.
- Leverage Agile delivery methodology, run scrum meetings, and plan work execution and overall development strategy.
- Ensure efficient communication between central Web Strategy & Dev teams and Business Areas.
- Lead the Dev Team in improving existing DevOps processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 7-10 years of overall web development lifecycle experience.
- 7-10 years of hands-on web development experience.
- 3+ years of increasing managerial experience.
- Deep expertise in modern web technologies and staying current with platform updates and emerging tools.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience leading SAFe Agile teams.
- Experience leading structured agile workflows in Wrike or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive, accessible web design standards.
- Experience governing and evolving component libraries to support efficient development.
- Proven ability to establish and enforce web development standards for quality and scalability.
- Working knowledge of analytics tracking frameworks, including GA4 and Matomo.
- Hands-on experience automating CI/CD pipelines and maintaining containerized environments with deep knowledge of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Elasticsearch, and Linux scripting.

- A Master’s degree and relevant certifications are valued.
