What You'll Do
Guide the design and execution of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure to streamline application delivery. Develop automated deployment workflows for .NET, Java, and open-source platforms, integrating testing frameworks like Selenium and xUNIT to ensure software integrity. Implement containerization solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift to enhance scalability and deployment consistency.
Integrate code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Aquascan, or VeraCode into pipelines to maintain security and compliance standards. Configure and troubleshoot monitoring systems including Elastic, DynaTrace, and Grafana to proactively identify and resolve production issues. Manage source control through Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, or SVN, and enforce change management protocols across development cycles.
Lead Agile ceremonies and contribute to release planning, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and business goals. Translate requirements into architectural designs and system diagrams. Support cloud migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and optimize SQL queries on Oracle or SQL Server databases. Build and maintain web applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, WCF, and related technologies.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. Seven years of professional experience must include technical leadership or senior development roles. Minimum of five years in each of the following: building CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications across .NET and Java ecosystems, implementing DevOps workflows, container orchestration, automated testing, code scanning integration, cloud platform management, and Agile methodology participation.
Additional experience includes managing artifact repositories like jFrog or Sonatype Nexus, tuning database queries, and developing with XML, XSLT, JSON, MVC, and WPF. Proficiency in release coordination, incident resolution, and translating business needs into technical designs is essential.
Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $147,118 to $156,115.68. The role is onsite, located at One Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY, with an expectation to work in the office four days per week. No equity or additional compensation components are included.
