What You'll Do
Oversee the full lifecycle of GiveDirectly’s programs in Mozambique, from design through implementation and ongoing improvement, with a focus on speed, quality, and cost efficiency. You’ll shape how mobile-based targeting and remote enrollment systems are developed and scaled, particularly in emergency and urban settings.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and risk frameworks, proactively identifying obstacles and resolving them swiftly. Use real-time program data to assess performance, detect trends, and refine delivery approaches to improve outcomes for recipients.
Lead the integration of technology and operational workflows, working closely with internal teams to adapt tools and processes that support remote service delivery. Pilot and refine new methods for digital targeting, enrollment, and fraud detection to strengthen program effectiveness.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, mobile network operators, and regulatory bodies. Establish clear protocols for collaboration with partners and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Represent the organization in technical discussions and coordination forums to enhance visibility and strengthen program integration. Monitor key performance indicators across initiatives, identify gaps, and lead corrective actions to maintain high standards.
Supervise program staff and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous learning. Provide coaching and performance feedback, supporting professional growth and strong team dynamics.
