Axon is hiring a Senior Manager of FP&A

Drive financial leadership for software product strategy in a fast-growing technology environment. As the primary finance partner for software product pillars, you'll own end-to-end P&L management, delivering planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across key product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial modeling for software offerings
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to assess roadmap priorities, investment opportunities, and capital allocation
  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate product profitability, payback periods, and lifetime value
  • Design and manage KPIs and dashboards tracking core metrics such as ARR, bookings, and margin performance
  • Conduct variance analysis and lead business reviews with senior stakeholders to align spending with strategic goals
  • Support pricing decisions with data-driven insights and market performance analysis
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards
  • Advise on vendor negotiations and technology contracts through financial modeling and scenario planning
  • Champion process improvements and scalable tools to support organizational growth

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, plus at least 7 years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, and business analytics. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience supporting both financial and operational leaders are essential. Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate initiative and ownership.

A Master’s degree or background in the technology sector is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality, deadlines, and strategic thinking.

Work Environment

This role operates in a hybrid model, based in Seattle, WA. Team members are expected onsite Tuesday through Friday, with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless an approved accommodation applies.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $141,225 — $225,960 USD, with eligibility for bonus and stock awards.
