Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Manager, Network Contracting & Services for the Southeast region. In this role, you will lead a team focused on negotiating, executing, and analyzing contracts with large and complex healthcare providers to maintain and enhance our network while meeting accessibility, quality, and financial goals.
What You'll Do
- Help inform and drive implementation of contracting strategies with Market Leaders that align with network adequacy, development, and cost management objectives.
- Lead contract settlement negotiations, striving to reach mutually beneficial agreements with providers.
- Manage and negotiate complex contracts, including Value Based Care agreements, with healthcare providers.
- Oversee a team of contracting managers, associates, and specialists, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of provider contracts, identifying areas for improvement.
- Utilize knowledge of provider financial issues and competitor strategies to inform negotiation decisions.
- Drive implementation of contracting policies and workflows across the team to ensure efficient processes.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics for network performance, cost, and provider satisfaction, and report to leadership.
- Ensure timely resolution of provider issues related to contract terms, reimbursement, and network participation.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers to ensure network stability and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in healthcare network contracting, including executing contracts with health systems, hospitals, or national providers.
- 4+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- 3+ years experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or the Healthcare industry.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional working experience.
- Experience with Value Based Care contracting.

You will lead a team of direct and indirect reports and report to the Director, Network Contracting & Services.

- Base pay for New Jersey or New York: $119,200 - $156,450 per year.
- Base pay for all other locations: $107,280 - $140,805 per year.
Work Mode
This is a remote position open to candidates in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and New York.
