Illumina, Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager/ Manager, Regional Segment Marketing to play a key role in expanding market opportunities. You will assess market dynamics, understand customer requirements, and establish stakeholder relationships to develop and implement the regional go-to-market strategy. You'll work cross-functionally to shape product positioning, generate demand, and empower the sales team.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for Illumina technologies in Multi-omics solutions, managing inbound and outbound communication and aligning internal stakeholders.
- Solicit and consolidate inputs from customers and field staff to provide in-depth market analysis and insights on customer and market issues.
- Provide information and guidance to revenue planning, marketing planning, and other functions.
- Lead the planning and execution of value propositions, solution combinations, segment campaigns, and product launches within the region.
- Lead the planning and execution of other marketing communications and promotional activities, including online/offline advertising, publications, webinars, collateral, product bundles, cross-promotions, and trade-ins.
- Execute or coordinate local events such as major conferences, tradeshows, seminars, user meetings, and product launch events.
- Work with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Assist field sales by providing guidance on positioning and identifying target customers.
- Deliver effective training and sales enablement tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our TAMs/SCPs.
- Ensure the technical competence of segment managers and the quality of marketing deliverables is maintained at a high standard.
- Define and manage segment budgets and priorities for all the above activities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience and understanding of genetics technologies and their application in genetic disease or multiomics-related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales, and/or technology within the life sciences or related industries.
- The ability to evaluate new market opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade.
- Fluency in English and Chinese, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- A University/College Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
- A Master's or PhD degree is an advantage.
