Samsung Electronics Canada is hiring a Senior Manager, Head of Brand Building to lead brand communication strategy and execution. In this role, you will develop integrated marketing plans, manage public relations, and establish corporate social responsibility programs to enhance brand impact and achieve business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Develop marketing and brand strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Liaise with HQ and RHQ to cascade corporate and brand communication direction to the local subsidiary.
- Develop acquisition and retention strategies to increase quality traffic to sales channels and create customer stickiness.
- Create and manage integrated marketing strategies.
- Initiate communications projects with vendors for marketing material development and production.
- Develop revenue sources through suppliers' membership, exhibits, sponsorships, and events.
- Provide guidance to Marketing Communication functions to ensure compliance with corporate brand guidelines.
- Analyze and evaluate marketing effectiveness, costs, and results, recommending improvements.
- Develop, establish, and execute short and long-term marketing plans, goals, strategies, budgets, and financial planning.
- Create PR content for external release (press releases, media kits, etc.) and plan and host accompanying events.
- Plan and drive programs to maintain relationships with stakeholders (media, analysts, influencers) for positive PR.
- Monitor public opinion and produce public statements when issues arise.
- Establish a social contribution strategy and program.
- Operate social contribution businesses efficiently, measure performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Discover beneficiary stories about major activities and communicate them to improve corporate image.
- Encourage employee participation in contribution, talent donation, and voluntary services.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience handling marketing strategy, brand management, and marketing communication.
- Experience from FMCGs or competitive companies providing communications support.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage projects independently.
- Resourcefulness in solving problems and delivering well-executed support.
- Excellent people and cooperation skills with an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
- Well-organized with keen attention to detail.
- Superior professionalism and judgment with a global perspective.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel upcountry and abroad as assigned.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken with computer literacy.

Team & Environment
This is a Head of Brand Building role, interfacing with HQ/RHQ and guiding Marketing Communication functions including PR, digital, media, and campaigns.
