Inetum is hiring a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to own the offshore administration, configuration, and maintenance of our enterprise Linux environments. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers in enterprise environments.
- Implement and manage high availability and clustering solutions like RHCS, Pacemaker, Corosync, and DRBD.
- Configure and manage monitoring tools such as OBM, Nagios, and Zabbix.
- Administer storage systems including SAN, NAS, LVM, RAID, and NFS.
- Manage virtualized environments with VMware and KVM.
- Administer security in Linux environments using SELinux, firewalld, iptables, auditd, and server hardening practices.
- Apply patches, updates, and perform package maintenance using YUM, DNF, APT, and Zypper.
- Work with backup and disaster recovery solutions like Bacula, Veeam, Rsync, and LVM Snapshots.
- Document procedures and best practices in systems administration.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Linux systems administration.
- Hands-on management of distributions like RHEL, CentOS, Debian, and SUSE.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Remedy and Jira.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in on-premise and cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.
