Ashby is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to become a pivotal member of a growing team. This technical role balances hands-on user support with building automation to scale our IT function across device management, identity, and user lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Own and triage customer issues from ingest through to resolution.
Offer, advocate and then implement best practices for an IT function.
Own projects across device management, identity management, hardware logistics, and user lifecycle to automate manual processes.
Help end users with everyday issues, trace root causes, and roll out structural fixes.
Use Terraform and Git to make critical systems transparent, self-documenting, and audit-ready.
Roll out nuanced authentication policies for device and posture attestation.
Advocate for role-based access control and birthright access.
Automate everyday processes using no-code, low-code, or code tools.

What We're Looking For

Ability to work hours in UTC-5 to UTC-7 timezones.
Experience across a range of technical systems.
Basic understanding of systems design, APIs, and underlying SaaS technologies.
Desire to work in and help build a small team of experts.

This is currently a team of one, looking to grow into a small team of experts. You will report directly to the Hiring Manager/IT Manager.
