Vorwerk is hiring a Senior IT Delivery Manager to take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of highly complex IT services within an IT product. In this role, you will plan, manage, and control the provision of IT services, ensuring seamless handover from development to operations. You'll collaborate closely with the IT Product Owner to drive continuous improvement throughout the service lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Support the entire life cycle of IT services, from development and commissioning to operation and decommissioning.
- Handle governance, strategy, and compliance for service delivery.
- Collaborate with IT vendor management and the IT product owner on the evaluation, selection, and SLA creation for partners.
- Ensure IT delivery through time and activity planning, provider selection, and solution selection for service-related projects.
- Ensure adequate handover from development to operations and documentation of new or modified services.
- Set up operational processes for new or adapted services.
- Determine metrics for service quality in IT operations and set up service quality reporting.
- Coordinate daily business relationships with various service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage the relevant service request catalog.
- Be responsible for the operation of one or more IT services in terms of performance, availability, and security KPIs.
- Manage relevant events such as incidents, major incidents, problems, and changes.
- Take operational responsibility for one or more processes in service design, transition, or operations.
- Continuously improve IT services through proactive analysis of ongoing incidents.
- Validate and control running costs, and plan future budgets for services.
- Monitor continuous service delivery based on SLAs and KPIs.
- Ensure data quality for the service, for example in the CMDB.
- Manage all escalations related to service operations.
- Manage service operations with stakeholders, considering existing capacities.
- Ensure sufficient and early consideration of IT delivery in projects impacting service operations.
- Manage the IT service life cycle, considering the IT portfolio and domain portfolio.
- Manage delivery relationships with other IT products, their owners, and external partners based on SLAs.
- Ensure stable and efficient service operations at competitive costs.
What We're Looking For
- Certification in a relevant IT service management framework, such as ITIL or Cobit.
- Basic knowledge of IT project management methods.
- Extensive experience in supplier management.
- Fluent business English, both spoken and written.
- A Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in service delivery management in the relevant field.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with the IT Product Owner and coordinate with IT vendor management, IT in-house consultants, IT project managers, business partners, IT providers, and the IT Service & Operations Management chapter.
