Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architectural discussions with clients and internal teams
- Create comprehensive integration architectures spanning cloud and on-premise systems
- Convert business needs into robust, secure, and well-documented technical designs
- Establish integration standards, design patterns, and best practices for API-led, event-driven, batch, and real-time approaches
- Guide the development and deployment of APIs, middleware, and integration platforms
- Define strategies for error handling, monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration engineers
- Review and validate solution designs through architecture assurance processes
- Support data governance, regulatory compliance, and security requirements
- Diagnose and resolve complex integration problems through root cause analysis
- Work with business teams, product owners, and engineers to turn requirements into integration solutions
- Assess and recommend integration technologies, tools, and third-party vendors
- Ensure integration systems meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards
- Manage the full lifecycle of APIs, including versioning, governance, and documentation
