About the Role

Medtronic is hiring a Senior HEPR Program Manager - Aortic for a highly visible role on the Aortic business’s Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement team. You will be instrumental in developing global reimbursement strategy, supporting clinical and commercial planning, and ensuring market access for life-saving aortic therapies.

What You'll Do

  • Provide advice and counsel on global reimbursement strategies, health economics, and health policy for emerging technologies.
  • Lead development of global product-specific reimbursement strategies for key assessment bodies and payers.
  • Develop reimbursement and health economics assessments to integrate into business plans and decision-making.
  • Champion the creation and maintenance of reimbursement tools for colleagues and sales partners.
  • Provide strategies to address changes in U.S. and global healthcare reimbursement systems.
  • Identify and implement programs to resolve payer-related barriers to entry for aortic repair therapies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry Health Policy / Strategic Reimbursement experience.
  • Or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree in health policy, public health, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline.
  • Global Medical Device or Pharmaceutical reimbursement experience.
  • Understanding of US payment systems and healthcare trends.
  • Project management experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience reviewing commercial coverage policies and Medicare payment regulations.
  • Experience working with product development teams.
  • Ability to independently develop clinical and economic value dossiers and tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and apply strong analytical skills.

Team & Environment

You will be a member of the Aortic business’s Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement team, reporting to the Senior Director of Health Economics, Policy and Reimbursement for the Structural Heart business.
