About the Role

Solventum is looking for a Senior Government Contracts Analyst to drive material government contract development and build consensus with cross-functional departments to resolve complex contract management issues. You will apply your expertise to enable better, smarter, and safer healthcare innovations.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with sales to drive revenue and contract compliance through sound government contracting principles.
  • Contribute to the team's strategic vision and coach government contracts support team members.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on government contracts, proposals, business opportunities, and applicable federal regulations.
  • Consult with senior-level sales partners on negotiation strategy, develop solutions, and at times participate directly in customer negotiations.
  • Develop contract implementation plans, document contract files, implement data in the contract management system, and communicate key information to leadership.
  • Utilize sound business judgment to manage time, resources, and identify opportunities for improving contract development and execution.
  • Identify critical pre and post-execution contractual issues, escalate them appropriately, and drive cross-functional discussions to build consensus.
  • Manage the lifecycle of an assigned portfolio of contracts using a contract management system.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution AND 8 years of experience in government contracting within the commercial industry and/or the federal government.
  • OR a High School Diploma/GED AND twelve years of experience in government contracting within the commercial industry and/or the federal government.

Nice to Have

  • A JD or master’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize work in a high-volume, quick deadline environment.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees while conveying a positive service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to build key relationships across the organization and develop an informal network of internal consultants.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
