Responsibilities
- Create character control systems that deliver a responsive and realistic experience
- Develop online gameplay features with support for prediction, rollback networking, and server-side authority
- Design and enhance character movement systems using CMC or Mover Plugin frameworks
- Work closely with animators, designers, and other software engineers on a daily basis
- Develop gameplay prototypes and refine them from early concept to final quality
- Improve performance of character and control systems for current-generation consoles and PCs
- Guide and support junior gameplay engineers by sharing technical knowledge
- Perform code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and consistency
