What You'll Do
Take ownership of the core gameplay experience in Aquapark.io, ensuring every interaction feels responsive, intuitive, and rewarding. You'll design and refine the fundamental mechanics that drive player engagement, from character movement to environmental interactions, with a sharp focus on moment-to-moment satisfaction.
Create and iterate on level layouts, fine-tuning water slide designs and environmental elements to enhance flow, pacing, and fun. Work directly in Unity to prototype new features, adjusting physics parameters like friction, bounce, and motion curves until the feel is just right. Collaborate with artists and engineers to align visual feedback, audio cues, and control responsiveness with gameplay intent.
Use playtesting, A/B testing, and player data to guide improvements in retention and session quality. Lead rapid design cycles, turning insights into actionable changes. Establish design standards for interaction systems and advocate for clarity, simplicity, and delight in every player action.
