Design and maintain high-impact systems that directly influence revenue, operational efficiency, and margin performance. You'll develop robust procurement and inbound logistics platforms that support rapid ecommerce growth, focusing on reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
What You'll Do
- Architect and implement distributed, event-driven systems using messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Drive improvements in system observability, incident response, and deployment stability
- Design APIs and services that balance performance, security, and future adaptability
- Lead technical initiatives across teams with minimal supervision
- Establish clear architectural standards to reduce ambiguity and accelerate team velocity
- Mentor engineers across the organization, promoting best practices and technical excellence
- Reduce error rates in order processing, shipment handling, and warehouse intake workflows
- Apply deep understanding of fault tolerance patterns including retries, circuit breakers, and idempotency
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and maintaining service-oriented, distributed systems
- Proficiency with .NET, SQL, and JavaScript in production environments
- Proven track record designing event-driven architectures using messaging platforms
- Strong grasp of API design principles and service scalability
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and trunk-based development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DBT, Dagster, Python, Postgres, or cloud infrastructure platforms
- Background in ecommerce, supply chain operations, warehouse systems, or financial transaction workflows
