What You'll Do
Guide the evolution of a high-impact operations platform by contributing across the full development lifecycle—from concept through deployment and beyond. Take ownership of system architecture while writing and reviewing code that supports scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Work directly with product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment across engineering and operational goals.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues within a large, interconnected codebase. Build automated tests to strengthen system integrity and support continuous integration practices. Share knowledge through documentation and mentorship, helping raise the technical bar across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend systems and distributed architectures
- Proven track record building production applications in Python and strong-typed languages such as C# or Java
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks including Vue.js or similar
- Solid understanding of data modeling and database design, with experience in Postgres or SQL Server preferred
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and AWS services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering stakeholders
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work in the United States is required
