Atmos Financial is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to enhance and maintain our mission-driven clean energy lending platform. You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions, reporting directly to the CTO.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for our clean energy lending platform.
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using various technologies adapted by the engineering team.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues, implementing appropriate solutions and optimizations.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Continuously monitor and enhance the security, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the development workflow.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of learning within the team.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer/developer.
- Strong proficiency in React/React Native, Node.js, Postgres, distributed cloud systems such as AWS, MongoDB, Elastic databases.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software within deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
- Passion for clean energy and sustainability, with a genuine interest in leveraging technology to drive positive change.
