Role Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to lead the development and deployment of robust, end-to-end applications. You’ll work across the entire stack—frontend, backend, and cloud—using modern tools like React, Node, Next.js, and Azure Cloud. This is a fully remote position with the added benefit of a compressed 4-day work week, ideal for engineers who thrive in autonomous, high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and refine product features using React, TypeScript, Next.js on the frontend, and Node.js with Hono on the backend, backed by PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and business stakeholders to transform concepts, wireframes, and workflows into reliable, production-grade features.
- Design and implement integrations with external platforms, including social media networks, AI services, financial systems, and eCommerce providers.
- Ensure code meets high standards for quality, security, scalability, and maintainability across all layers of the stack.
- Write and maintain automated integration tests using Jest, aligned with defined test strategies.
- Monitor deployed systems and respond to operational issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Proven expertise with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems like MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience architecting and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure.
- Experience developing and debugging automated test suites using Jest or similar frameworks.
- Self-driven and effective in small, distributed teams with asynchronous communication and limited oversight.
- A strong focus on user needs, with an emphasis on performance, accessibility, and intuitive design.

Compensation & Benefits
