Scalable GmbH is looking for a Senior Financial Editor to produce high-quality financial content and oversee key editorial products. As part of a leading European fintech, you'll ensure content aligns with our brand voice and regulatory standards while mentoring junior team members.

What You'll Do

Write high-quality financial content in various formats including newsletter articles, blog posts, and scripts for educational videos and podcasts.
Take responsibility for central editorial formats and ensure consistently high quality standards.
Contribute to the further development and optimization of existing content formats.
Monitor relevant developments in financial markets and proactively suggest current, suitable content ideas.
Research complex financial topics and prepare them for private investors in a clear, understandable, exciting, and professionally precise manner.
Support and mentor junior editors through mentoring, feedback, and quality control.
Work closely with other editors as well as with marketing, product, and compliance.
Bring ideas for new formats and support their implementation.
Ensure all content fits the brand voice, meets regulatory requirements, and considers SEO best practices.
Optionally host podcasts or appear on camera as needed.

What We're Looking For

Several years of proven editorial experience in the financial sector.
Pronounced professional expertise in the areas of capital markets and investing.
Ability to create convincing, structured content in various formats.
Experience in supervising or coaching junior colleagues.
Solid understanding of content performance metrics and SEO basics.
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as a pronounced attention to detail.
Native German speaker and fluent in English.
Comfortable with occasional public appearances or on-camera formats.
Enjoy working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and act independently with high ownership.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AI tools and knowledge of how to use them purposefully and beneficially in daily work.
Willingness to host podcasts or appear on camera as needed.
