Tucows is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Tucows is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational strategy of our Domains portfolio, contributing to planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the full Domains portfolio.
• Contribute to long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including management reporting, tax reporting, and stakeholder updates.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial planning models, tools, and templates for forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level reporting.
• Partner with business leaders and cost center owners to develop budgets, analyze performance trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze profit and loss statements, forecasts, and key metrics to deliver clear, data-driven insights.
• Provide decision support for operational and strategic initiatives, including RFPs, platform migrations, acquisitions, and securitizations.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to the Domains Executive Team, influencing decisions on pricing, cost structure, and profitability.
• Lead or support ad hoc strategic projects that enhance operational efficiency, optimize cost structures, and drive sustainable growth.
• Champion the use of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to modernize financial reporting and streamline business processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in audit, accounting/financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, or operational finance.
• Strong proficiency (3+ years) with Excel and/or Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, data analysis tools, and financial modeling techniques.

Nice to Have

• CPA or CFA preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial controls is an asset.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, or other high-growth industries is an asset.
